Sodium Acetate

Sodium Acetate

Category:

Sodium acetate, also known as sodium acetate, is an organic substance with the molecular formula CH3COONa, molecular weight 82.03. Sodium acetate trihydrate is white crystal, relative density 1.45, melting point 58°C, weathered in dry air, loses crystalline water at 120°C, and decomposes when the temperature is high; anhydrous sodium acetate is a colorless transparent crystal with a melting point of 324°C. It is soluble in water, can be used as a buffer, mordant, for the determination of lead, copper, nickel, ferro, etc., for the preparation of culture media, organic synthesis, film printing, etc.
